Lighting Up Creativity at the 138th Canton Fair (Oct 23–27)

From October 23 to 27 in Guangzhou, our factory took part in the 138th Canton Fair, joining hundreds of exhibitors in a major showcase dedicated to gifts, décor and lifestyle innovations. This year, instead of merely presenting traditional lighting, we introduced our special foldable lamp designed for retail chains, gift-companies and IP merchandise partners — a product built around design freedom and customization.

Design Meets Versatility

At our stand, we showed not just a lamp, but a platform for creativity. The foldable lamp folds open like a book, and its surface is fully printable — meaning logos, illustrations, film or animation characters can all be integrated. For supermarket gift zones, for corporate-gift campaigns, or for licensed-IP collaborations, this became an immediate talking point. Attendees appreciated how the lamp isn’t just about light; it’s about visual storytelling, brand identity and retail appeal.

A New Choice for Retail & Gift Channels

We spoke with visitors from supermarket groups, gift sourcing companies and IP licence holders. Many of them indicated the need for products that:

  • Carry a recognizable brand or character design.

  • Are easy to slot into retail shelves or gift assortments.

  • Offer customization at the factory level (logo, pattern, themed runs).
Our product hit those marks: the lamp arrives in retail-ready packaging, supports low MOQ customization, and can be tailored for animation or film IP use as well as corporate branding.

Why This Matters

In today’s market, buyers are looking beyond pure function. A product must capture narrative, brand identity and emotional resonance. Our foldable lamp taps this by allowing full surface design freedom — whether for a movie tie-in, an anime co-branded piece or a supermarket seasonal gift item. That makes it a fit across multiple B-to-B segments.

What We Learned & What Comes Next

The fair reinforced several priorities: retail buyers want design-led items, IP licence holders seek flexible manufacturing partners, gift firms value unique products with strong branding hooks. We captured meaningful leads from Europe, Southeast Asia and the Middle East. Up next: preparing sample kits, custom mock-ups for IP clients, and working with gift companies to develop themed lighting lines for supermarkets and event merch.

If you are a supermarket buyer, a gift company sourcing custom items, or an IP licensor looking to expand into lighting décor — we’d welcome you to reach out. Let’s explore how your logo, your character or your campaign can be turned into a high-impact foldable lamp that stands out.
